Rest Assured Pathetic End

God, in His infinite wisdom, created the world with divine care and purpose. He crafted humanity in His own image, gave animals their domains—the jungle for the wild, the sea for the fish, the sky for the birds. He blessed us with rivers, mountains, the sun, moon, and stars, and filled our lives with light, rain, and all the wonders of nature. He gave us the best of everything so that we could thrive in this beautiful world.

God also blessed us with emotions, trusting that we would choose love, kindness, and compassion, because He believed in us—His creation. But what have we chosen? Instead of embracing the virtues bestowed upon us, we have fallen into the abyss of greed, anger, lust, and the pursuit of power over the vulnerable.

This has given birth to a demon so powerful it cannot be controlled, chained, or slain. This demon grows stronger with each passing day, reveling in destruction, its wicked heart set on killing multiple birds with a single stone. It’s winning, and its followers grow bolder, more vicious with every moment.

This demon is the rapist, a creature who has birthed a new religion of darkness, where the motto is “Rest Assured Pathetic End.” Each act of violence does not just claim one victim; it destroys families, shatters communities, and wounds the very soul of God Himself. The victims and their loved ones are condemned to a life of agony, stripped of dignity, left to wither as mere shadows of their former selves.

Every day, I hear the horrific news—a girl, a child, a woman, young or old, brutalized, abused, her soul incinerated, never to see the light again. It’s as though the earth itself cries out in anguish, begging for the end to this relentless cruelty.

As a father of two daughters, I live in constant fear. I pray fervently when they step out, call them endlessly to check on their safety. Sleep eludes me, haunted by the nightmares of what could happen.

It’s time to face the truth: No government will ever take drastic action against rapists. The system is entangled, corrupt, and complicit. What have we, as a society, done to eradicate this vile act?

Why is the word ‘rape’ not forbidden from our vocabulary, our reality? Why are governments failing to protect our children? Why are we failing to protect them? Why do cases drag on for years? What are we waiting for?

Does my son respect women? How much more can we endure?

I watched a video of a father applying for a gun to protect his daughters, and I understand him. I feel the same—driven to arm myself, to prepare my daughters to defend themselves fiercely against anyone who dares to strip them of their dignity and their right to live.

No government, no social media, no celebrity, no politician will save you or stand for you. They are too busy safeguarding temples, churches, mosques, and other symbols of faith. They will rally, they will fight, they will burn and destroy in the name of religion or politics, but where are they when a soul is shattered by such inhuman acts?

Stadiums fill with thousands to watch a cricket match, but who stands up for the violated? Have you ever seen our icons, our athletes, our celebrities unite and declare, “We will not make movies, we will not play, until this stops”? No, they post their condemnations on social media, but when have they truly marched alongside the victims, stood with the grieving families? I have zero hope in them—they act only when it brings them fame or fortune.

I see no hope. My children are my responsibility, and it is time for all parents to recognize this harsh truth. We must be their protectors, their warriors, because in this world, it seems we can trust no one else.
